Executive / Sr. Executive - Production Comforter

Utopia Industries is seeking an experienced Executive / Sr. Executive – Production Planning to manage production planning and scheduling for Comforter and Mattress Pad manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing production plans, coordinating material requirements, monitoring production targets, and ensuring timely completion of production orders while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and shipment deadlines.- Prepare production schedules for Comforter and Mattress Pad manufacturing.

- Monitor daily production performance against planned targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Stores, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, including fabric, polyester filling, fiber, quilting materials, accessories, and packaging materials.
- Monitor production processes, including cutting, quilting, stitching, filling, finishing, packing, and final inspection.
- Track order-wise production status, work-in-process (WIP), pending quantities, and delivery commitments.
- Identify production bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and planning gaps, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Coordinate with Industrial Engineering to improve production efficiency, line balancing, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and minimize machine idle time, manpower inefficiencies, and material wastage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and performance reports.
- Monitor plan versus actual production, order completion, and on-time delivery performance.
- Communicate production progress, challenges, and critical issues to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective production planning strategies.
