Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a relevant field.

Experience: 8–10 years of relevant Industrial Engineering experience in the Home Textile or Bedding Manufacturing Industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Industrial Engineering to lead Industrial Engineering functions across production operations. The role will focus on capacity and resource planning, productivity improvement, Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, production layouts, and efficient utilization of manpower and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement capacity planning and resource planning to achieve production targets efficiently.
• Ensure maximum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources while minimizing operational losses.
• Design, review, and optimize production layouts to improve workflow, reduce material movement, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement (CI), and waste elimination projects.
• Establish and review SOPs, Standard Minute Values (SMVs), line balancing, and productivity benchmarks.
• Analyze production performance, efficiency, capacity utilization, and labor productivity, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor machine utilization, bottlenecks, and process flow to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Conduct Time & Motion Studies and Work Measurement to improve productivity and optimize manpower deployment.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and other relevant departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive sustainable productivity enhancement initiatives.

Requirements & Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant Industrial Engineering experience in the Home Textile or Bedding Manufacturing Industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong expertise in Capacity Planning and Resource Allocation.
• Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning, Line Balancing, Time & Motion Study, Work Measurement, and Productivity Analysis.
• Experience in Factory Layout Planning and Process Optimization.
