SENIOR MANAGER - AUDIT

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Internal Audit to for financial and operational audit functions across our textile manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure effective internal controls, regulatory and policy compliance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization while identifying risks and providing strategic recommendations to Management. The role requires strong expertise in textile manufacturing audits, production efficiency, inventory management, financial analysis, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial and operational audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Conduct comprehensive departmental audits across Accounts, HR, Procurement, Commercial, Engineering, Civil, Inventory, Production, Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain.

Review and analyze financial and operational data to identify discrepancies, trends, control weaknesses, and opportunities for cost savings.

Conduct operational audits across the textile production chain, evaluating efficiency, effectiveness, resource utilization, and compliance with established standards.

Perform post-audits of production efficiency, wastages, and process performance across Bedding, Terry, Knits, and Plastic segments, seeking justifications from production heads and recommending corrective measures.

Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of internal audit systems and controls tailored to textile manufacturing operations.

Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risk implications, and actionable recommendations.

Present audit findings and recommendations to Management and provide advisory support on control improvements, process enhancements, and cost optimization.

Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team, ensuring effective collaboration, professional development, and technical competency.

Allocate audit assignments, establish objectives, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of approved audit plans.

Provide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to strengthen team capabilities in financial and operational auditing.

Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective/preventive actions to ensure timely closure of identified issues.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field with Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ACMA .

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, financial audit, or operational audit, preferably within the textile or manufacturing industry.

Proven experience conducting departmental and production audits across manufacturing operations.

Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes, production efficiency, wastage analysis, inventory management, and cost optimization.

Hands-on experience in audit planning, risk-based auditing, audit reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.

Demonstrated leadership, team management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
