SR. ASSISTANT MANAGER - PRODUCTION

Major Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Supervise production teams, manpower deployment, and shift operations.
• Monitor production efficiency, wastage, rejection, downtime, and machine performance.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other resources.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Coordinate with Planning, QA, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
• Drive initiatives for waste reduction, process improvement, cost optimization, and productivity enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, HSE requirements, and 5S practices.
• Prepare and review production reports and performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5–6 years of relevant Production experience, preferably in the Packaging Industry.
• Hands-on experience in Poly Bags, Flexible Packaging, Blow Molding, or related packaging manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management, machine operations, quality control, and waste reduction.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good command of MS Office and production reporting systems.
