Job Description

  • Plan and monitor daily dyeing production according to the production schedule.
  • Supervise dyeing processes, including recipe preparation, machine loading, dyeing, washing, finishing, and shade matching.
  • Ensure right-first-time production and minimize shade variation, reprocessing, rejection, and wastage.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Lab, Stores and Maintenance, departments.
  • Monitor dyeing recipes, chemical/dye consumption, temperature, pH, time, and other process parameters.
  • Troubleshoot shade, quality, and machine/process problems.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production records, recipes, batch cards, and chemical consumption.
  • Monitor machine utilization and improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Train and guide dyeing operators and junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, environmental standards, and chemical-handling requirements.
  • Analyze production and quality data and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce water, steam, energy, chemicals, and reprocessing costs.
