SR. EXECUTIVE - PRODUCTION
Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall fabric receiving, inspection, and verification operations.
- Ensure implementation of effective checking systems, controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Dyeing, Inventory, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth fabric receiving operations.
- Monitor receiving performance, manpower utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure complete lot receiving with accurate quantity and weight verification.
- Monitor and ensure proper verification of GSM, shade, and fancy fabric as per defined quality requirements.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance receiving efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards.
- Monitor discrepancies in received fabric and coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly receiving reports and provide management with relevant operational insights.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to fabric receiving and verification.
- Ensure team adherence to established processes, controls, and performance standards.
- Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in fabric receiving, fabric inspection, dyeing, inventory, or textile production operations.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, GSM, shade, weight, quantity, and lot-wise receiving processes.
- Experience in a textile manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, reporting, and team management skills.
